Marek Dobrev

History

• Biography

  Marek wasn't out as transgender until he was nearly an adult. He knew for a long time that he wasn't who he outwardly appeared as and once he was away from home in college, he started taking the steps to be the person he was born to be. This caused some tension with his family and friends from home who didn't quite understand, even if they tried. Unfortunately, it did sever some bonds, but Marek was happy to be free of those people who could not accept him and he is now living in Nexxus City in an apartment with three other guys: Marquis, Marco and Markell. All lemur shifters like he is. He's happy in this city full of diverse people and has been trying to find a place for himself and a direction for his life going forward.
  
  While Marek is a friendly, happy guy, he does get defensive rather easily. Especially when someone is being judgemental or intentionally insensitive. While the Marx Lemurs can be extremely Bro-ish, they are more than accepting and forward thinking and have given Marek a safe space to live and thrive. They're bros for life and the little squad has become his family. While Marek has been volunteering his free time at shelters for troubled youth, he's still not sure what career path he wants to take on.
